One Response to Soulja Boy…Superman That

  1. If the world has become dumber because of Soulja Boy’s rhymes, dude couldn’t help make a difference with rhyme– so let off of Soulja Boy!

You may ask why I would say this. I will tell you.

For years the thirty somethings were holding on to hip hop, and everyone who was trying to still do it/”get put on” was late twenties into their thirties.

Now, hip hop has re-invited itself, and now it is back to the youth moving the youth. Like a 14-15 year old LL COOL J moved our generation, Soulja Boy moves this generation.

And, like it or not, the new generation of spit kickers are coming– like Lupe Fiasco.

Bottomline– the music is going to change. 2008 is like 1988. Back then the music moved from Pro-Black to Gangsta, and the music today is going to shift from Cappin’ to more thought provoking lyrics, but it won’t be like it was.

Hip Hop’s on the move, the question is– can you move with it?
